Good morning Friday ... Lilo pickup day !!!! :) YAY !!!! 

I had my meltdown yesterday and hubby took me for a ride, and it ended up to be a wonderful time .. even though all the traffic jams ... We blew the doors off of 2 police cars ..... of course they were in the lane that was moving slower than us .. lol .. but we blew the doors off of them .. lol lol .. 

I told hubby what was all going on in my head, and he put the cherry on it unintentionally .. by just making a small innocent remark .. and it hit me like a pan in the face .. but he didn't know .. but we talked through it and all was better .. my mood increased again, and I'm back to sassy and silly .. and I'm back to excited about her coming ... 

I finished my kitty yesterday .. and I like her .. but it didn't turn out like I wanted ... but life exploded and well my heart wasn't 100% into it .. but I'm happy with her .. I couldn't think of a name but one of my FB friends made the mention that her chest looked like feathers ... so I should call her "Feather" .. 

So .. Meet FEATHER !!! :) 

Her blonde got a little orange on her chest .. but oh well .. I needed her to get me settled down from the last challenges .. SURPRISE ... Never heard from her anymore either .. *sigh* .... but maybe for the best .... so if life would have been normal .... Feathers would have brought me back .. but well .. life was the farthest thing from normal the last few weeks .. 

I got Lilo's sitting room all set up yesterday ... :) Couches and chairs covered from sharp little claws, and zoomies .. 

Her daytime crate is in my sitting room, and her sleepy time crate is set up in the bedroom .. I brought out her sachel for all my walkies stuff, and travel stuff, and sorted it out .. all her leashes, and poo bags, and collapsable water dish, and brought out the sour apple spray, and the cheese spray, and her treat Kong and washed it up  and and and and  .. washed up her water/food dishes .. I'm all ready for her and whatever mommy sends with .. :) I'm leaving around 10 to pick her up .. :) 

I'd like to stop at a park to let her run some energy off .. and then home .. I don't know how much we are going to be able to be outside this week, but I would like to get at least a morning (before the heat sets in) park run .... I'm planning on using my straps, (pulled my gym ones from my gym bag for now and moving them over to our "walkie bag " ... 

This afternoon will be cutting up the watermelon hubby bought earlier this week, but the fridge was pretty well packed up .. Now it's emptied out and I'm running out of fruit for the week ahead .. so I think I will chop up the watermelon this afternoon .. :) 

and maybe cook up some rice and beans because I have an onion and peppers in the fridge too .. and that should give me something to have throughout the week .. so we will play in the kitchen a bit this afternoon .. :) 

I'm hoping to go to the Pewaukee Beach party tomorrow .. I think if I park in the old Sentry lot, we can walk over there .. I saw a bridge that goes over to the main road .. Maybe today we will try that path on the way home .. we will see ... and then I can see how much she remembers of our walks .. :) 

I had a great NSV .. kind of funny NSV if nothing else .. made me giggle with my mood yesterday.. that was good ..  

Hubby took me to Potawatomi again, to get some more Summerfest tickets .. and I just took my phone and put it in my shorts pocket.. I was walking around the casino going to the promotions booth, and all of a sudden my shorts felt funny .. they were sliding down, and no .. I didn't show off to anyone .. but I had to pull them back up or I would have been .. lol .. So that's my NSV for the day .. 

So .. that's my story, and I'm sticking with it .. I am picking up Lilo today, and looking forward to a puppy filled week .. :) Have a great day ... I'm going to !!!!

Happy Thursday !!! 

Tomorrow reopens Liloville .. and I have the house pretty much ready for her ... Just have to walk around tomorrow with the bitter apple spray (which I do while she's watching me .. ) and squirt the "possible intrigue points" .. lol .. and cover up my living room furniture but after "organizing" my bedroom closet upstairs, I can's find "her" throws ... *doh* .. (just big sheets of fleece .. easy to wash at the end of her stay) ... so I'm going to have to do a search for those today ..  but we're ready for her .. :) Tomorrow we get to see what I forgot to set up .. lol ..I will be picking her up tomorrow morning  around 10ish .. that way she has a full day here, and it's not like bringing her home, and then going up to bed .. Don't think THAT would work .. :) Maybe stop at a park and let her run a bit just to get the initial energy out of her .. :) We will see .. :) tomorrow is pretty much a wing it  day .... but bringing her home in the morning gives her the day to settle in .. :) 

I had a good pampering appointment .. and  have my feet all freshened up, and fresh nails .. Happy pink ... (needed something happy ... feel like I've been beat down lately again .. *sigh*  .... making some heavy decisions .. but I think I have it figured out just what I need to do .. ) so I got happy pink !!! and love them .. :) 

I headed over to Friend's of nature .. and was worried, I almost didn't see my CB treats .. Ohoh .. but I found them .. WHEW ... and then I looked at the chews .. and I've never had a dog with such hearty chewing and there are some things that her mom gives her, that I don't like because the first time I took care of her she would take off chunks at a time .. and those were pigs ears .. She knows not to send them with her .. but sends filled bones .. I can handle those ....lol ..So we are waiting to see what mom sends with her for chewies .. before I go and pick some up .. :) I don't do rawhides .. but looked at antlers, and different things .. the bones were kind of greasy so didn't want those .. So .. I got the CB treats, and decided I would stop in through the week after we see what "mom" sends along with her .. :) 

After that I went to drop off mom's package at the UPS store to return to Amazon .. only to find out the guy only scanned one of the emails .. *DOH* .. so am I going to get the other half of the refund .. ?? don't know .. *sigh* .. We will look into it later .. 

I went across the street and treated myself to a quiet lunch at Panera .. (one of my gift cards from previous Lilo visits .. lol) and bought myself a strawberry poppyseed salad .. I had that last time, when I did the drawing dropoffs .. and it was good .. I enjoyed every bite .. :) 

From there I headed to KwikTrip and got my eggs, and what I thought was hubby's free sweet tea (UGH!) and filled up Beauty's belly .. The coupon that I thought I had that would have made hubby's sweet tea free .. didn't happen .. *sigh* .. so we ended up paying for it .. GRRRRRRR

 

I headed for home, and got home around 1ish .. in which I took the house apart, and left Rupert out of his crate .. (my robot vaccuum) .. I laughed at myself, because I found myself scolding him .. He got stuck under one of my couches, and I unstuck him .. and no quicker I did that .. that he headed right back in that direction .. and I'm standing the middle of the living room, hands on my hips and scolding him .. I stopped and thought for a minute .. and all I could do is shake my head and laugh .. lol .. Yes .. I think I'm going over the edge here .. lol .. 

Now I just hope for a nice week next week .. Hubby said he would go to mom's on Monday to help Bill out .. That's a good thing because I'm not ready for 'mommy drama' yet ..  so having a week off might help ... (I hope) .. 

Today, I'm looking forward to a quiet day .. just last minute couch cover ups, and play up in my playroom .. as I'm not able to spend time upstairs while she's here .. but in turn .. my days are busier with her here .. :) so it's an even steven .... She's a good people sitter too .. :)

Happy Wednesday ..and happy first day of Summer !!!! What a better way to celebrate than a community water balloon fight !!!! ENJOY !!!!! *SPLAT* !!!!!! 

Yesterday was a perfect "restore mood" day .. Hubby was going to down to Potawatomi (downtown casino) because they were giving away Summerfest tickets .. and he wanted to put a point or 2 on our cards .. (which was 5$ worth .. all together now .. "OOOOOOOOOOOO" lol)   He kept saying we could play alittle bit, but nothing really intrigued me .. because they were all the same machines and now the machines that I enjoyed .. are all considered archaic ... lol .. but we walked around and put a point on our cards (just to keep them showing as active) .... 

I took Rose with me .. my legs had been feeling good; but my knee kept going out on me .. so just for security I took Rose with me ,... and she helped walking around .. They had done some remodeling, and we checked all that out .. 

We turned our $5 into $20 .. (In N Out Burger lunch for Laughlin .. lol ... we kept joking about now we can afford this or that on our next trip coming up) ... 

We came around the corner, and hubby saw some friends he used to meet up with on his Tuesday Ol'Fart runs down there .. (Tuesday was ol'farts day, and you got discounts at the buffet, and xtra points for playing .. well that was his Tuesday morning runs .. and he met the nicest couple) .. Anyway .. they have stopped that, and they no longer have the buffet ... and we haven't seen them in ages .. They were there yesterday, and they gave us some "books" .. He works at the Brewers stadium, and gets coupon books to hand out .. well .. they gave both hubby and I one .. it had a coupon in there for $20 free money at the Pot .. so we played that .. and now we're up to the buffet in Laughlin, and a few other treats, because we ran the money through the machines together .. (we play a game when we do the reward money) .. and for $40 coupon .. we walked out with all of that and a bit more .. :) lol .. Anyway .. we had fun, and we stopped by and thanked them for the coupons again .. They are such a sweet couple .. and so happy that hubby saw them .. I had only met them once before .. and I felt so comfortable chatting with them .. :) 

We headed out .. it was about 11:30 and hubby asked if we could stop one more place .. I told him sure .. he wanted to stop at Meijer .. and I would have the cart to use as a walker ..so I was good .. We picked up a few things, and I got more steps .. :) 

We got home, and I sat down.  I turned on the AC yesterday... I was getting that infamous headache .. and with everything that's been going on to contribute to it lately .. I thought I would eliminate at least one contributor .. 

We played a round of golf, and I almost had him until the 9th hole when I kerplopped into the water .. *doh* .. and he won .. *doh* .. 

After golf as long as I still had shoes on, I gained another 400 steps by walking out and back to the mailbox and watered the plants while I was outside .. I just played outside for a bit .. and chilled .. 

It was just a good day .. and I got my goal of steps plus .. but I took a step backward again .. My sleep, even with a 1/2 dose of tylenol pm ouchie pill .. was choppy ... so we will see what today has for me .. I have a busy day planned ..  

I had to laugh ... we have lots of baby's around here, and there are 2 squirrels, and its so much fun watching them learn new ... Well .. they had learned how to get up to the back feeder .. a few weeks ago .. but that's also a steady feeder .. :) 

Well -- the front one isn't as sturdy .. and I had entertainment yesterday .. Short clips but hope they give you a giggle as well .. lol .. 

He finally gave up and went back to the back feeder where I saw him and his brother (or sister, and he is a she ... who knows but for now .. they are hes .... lol) 

Today is going to be a busy day .. I am starting with a pedi/mani .. ahhhhhh appointment, and then going to Friend's of Nature in Sussex for some CB treats for the munchkin .. and maybe pick up an emergency bone or 2 .. and then to drop off mom's return from Amazon, and since I'm in the neighborhood I thought I would treat myself to a Panera lunch .... I liked that salad I had last time, and this time I can just chill ..and to Kwik Trip to use a couple coupons .. get hubby a sweet tea (ugh .. but it's free, and I can put it in the fridge for when he gets home) and eggs are 99c a dozen .. :)  and then come home and start prepping the house for the opening of Liloville .. :) clean up, put away, and set up .. that should give me the moving I need .. :) (probably a knee strap day .. :) lol)

Good morning Tuesday .. 

Yesterday was well .. a weird day .. Mommy day was not .. we went and by the time we got home from grocery shopping, she was crying, and told us "you can go home" .. I had enough .. so I just said "okay" .. Picked up my purse, and left .. Hubby tried to get her to talk and that's when she told us we could go home.. I just reached my limit yesterday .. so we did some grocery shopping, and that was it .. nothing more .. her attitude was somewhere in the grocery store .. and hubby was trying to figure out what happened .. I told him "it's just her lately" .. 

So -- we got home and I pretty much collapsed in my TV room .. my energy was sucked out for the day .. 

I called it a day at around 8:30, and headed upstairs ..   I did take a tylenol pm last night... 1/2 dose again .. and slept good .. My legs have started to settle down .. and hope it continues .. 

Woke up this morning down yet again .. I'm in the lower half of the decade .. and I needed a perk up .. Alot going on lately that has been trying to drag me down ... so looking at the smallest things to perk me up and keep me going .. 

I got my perk up ... these used to have to be squirmed into .. and now I have trouble keeping them up .. :) and yesterday my presents came from Amazon .. 

Our uniforms working Germanfest is black pants, and white polo shirt .. Well .. the last couple years the ladies have been wearing black shorts instead .. and I thought I would try it, but my black shorts are more of a dark grey  now .. so I bought myself a couple pairs of skorts .. one black and one navy .. the next size smaller .. (taking chances here) ..

They came yesterday, and I tried on the black on specifically .. and it fit !!! and I still have a month to go .. so by July 26th .. they will fit easily ... :) So happy !!! 

So -- I did have some happy's the last couple days .. and hope today will be a good one ..

Good morning Monday ... Mommy day today .. happy hubby is coming with me because Bill's on vacation .. 

DRUMROLL PLEASE !!!!!!!! 

OFFICIALLY 10.9 POUNDS THIS MORNING !!!!!

COLOR ME HAPPY !!!!! 

I had a good day yesterday .. finished up my laundry, and played in my playroom with my kitty, and then ran some errands in the afternoon .. as I started feeling lazy coming into the picture ..... Hubby asked if I wanted to run some errands in the morning .. and I told him no thanks, I want to run a few errands in the afternoon .. I need to break this cycle of lazy that has been coming in the afternoons .. and if I go out for some errands in the afternoon .. I should be able to break it .. It's driving me bonkers .. but again .. I believe it's because, while I've been sleeping well .. I wake up when I roll over, and that breaks my sleep cycle .. Last night I took a 1/2 dose of tylenol, and slept like the proverbial dead all night until 5:15 this morning .. and even though today is busy in the afternoon (mommy day) I slept good .. :) 

So -- I ran errands in the afternoon ... and went to Meijer .. found some things .. I was actually going to look for CB Treats for the monkey ... I just want a small bag because she gets one when we wake up and she lets me wash her little face to get rid of all the sleepies .. then she gets 3 CB Treats .. Well ... they had everything but .. and I thought .. Noooo I don't want to start buying alot .. I do have a container of treats on the counter .. for the doggie visitors, and well ..I used them for "find it" games with her in the evenings when she doesn't know what to do with herself, and after dinner .. we play a game of "find it" .. That's what I use those treats for .. but anyway .. they didn't have CB treats .. BUMMER .. I will stop at the pet store in Sussex ..Friend's of Nature on Wednesday after my nail appointment .. I know they carry the Charlie Bear treat lines .. and maybe a bone or 2 like she had last time .. for emergencies .. lol .. 

But I got a few other things while I was there, and so happy that I just got to go out and meander .. 

I got home and headed upstairs to play with kitty alittle more .. and happy with how he's coming along .. I don't think he will go to the neighbor .. because I think the neighbor's kitty is long hair .. and mine is short hair (kinda) .. lol .. 

I am happy with how he's coming along .. :) and having fun with him .. 

I started getting my cramps in my leg from sitting too much, and texted hubby to ask if we were going to play golf .. He won, but I gave him a run for his money until the last hole, when I splooched in the water .. lol .. but finished up getting my goal amount of steps for the day .. :) 

It was a good day and I felt good by the end of the day .. :) 

This morning I may bypass the gym .. until I can figure out what's going on with my leg .. but we will see ..

Happy Sunday !!! Do you have plans for Father's day .. :)  ?? I hope it's set for FUN !!! 

Yesterday was a good day .. I had the house opened up, and it felt sooooo good .. It sounds like the AC will be on this week coming up though ...  .. and I just looked at the future weather .. Let's just hope it changes ... because it looks like a lot of rain the week that Lilo is here .. That will put a damper on alot of our plans .. DOH !!!! 

It started out a wonderful day .. We had a little visitor and I just LOVED it !!!  Baby Zoomies ... :) He zoomed all over the yard .... lol .. 

Mom got in the way ... but it looks like she's been through this before .. lol

What a way to start our day ... 

We looked out the front windows, and there was one of our baby squirrels  .. on the top of the shepherds hook that holds the hummer feeder ... and well .. he wasn't as sturdy as the older ones .. so I wasn't that worried .. (and the shepherds hooks aren't that tall .. so if he did fall .. there wouldn't be a problem) .. but in the meantime the hummer came in and kept divebombing him .. We were laughing so hard, I didn't get any pictures .. It looked like King Kong on the top of the Empire State Building with the planes divebombing him .. lol.... Finally Baby Squirrel gave up and slid down the poles head first .. and hummer was happy ... 

What would I do without nature's comedy's out there .. That was the perfect start to my day .. :) 

I headed upstairs to start working on vacuuming .. and laundry .. I ran out of steam by noonish though .. DANG !!!! I finished my vacuuming and cleaning .. and then sat down to work on my kitty for a while .. (my next challenge I think will be elephants .... maybe .. lol) but I worked on the dark around the face, and into the ears .. 

The outside of the head was originally a dark grey, and I like that I added the dark brown .. (dark umber) .. and will work that dark brown down the nose, with just some beige stripes on the forehead .. So .. will probably work on him again today .. I also want to bring up the crates today .. so I can wipe them down ... and then I will set them up on Wednesday when I clean good down here .. 

I was sore yesterday, and mad at myself .. I need to keep moving, because our vacation is coming up, and I need to be ready for alot of walking .. but yesterday I was feeling 80 some years old .. DOH !!! which in turn created sit down time in the afternoon .. 

I did finish up the major part of my laundry, and happy about that .. and I played in the kitchen when hubby went shopping .. I wanted to try a 2 ingredient recipe that I found on WW .. It is a crust, panini, something recipe ... it consists of flour, and plain greek yogurt .. I did only a very small batch, because I wasn't sure of what it would taste like .. I did 2 in the oven .. (teeny tiny pastry crusts is what they look like .. )  They may be fun for adding blueberries or raspberries .. for a fun dessert .. :) 

They are about 2 inches across so not big .. :) 

I also made some on the stove ... and after I finished, I tasted .. and to me it tastes like pasta  .... ???? so maybe I could slice them up for small pasta salads for myself .. I think they pointages are only 2 per piece .. they are only 2-3 inches diameter .. and this is when I tasted it .. (small batch if it didn't taste good, it wouldn't be as sad to toss out) .. but they use this batter for panini's .. and I thought maybe making up a sauteed veggie panini .. is my next stop  ... lol .. for the next time I play .. 

I had fun .. :) and figured out the measurements .. so this might be a play time again .. :) 

So -- I did do some stuff yesterday .. enough to keep me out of trouble .. lol .. 

I slept pretty good last night... so we will see how long my energy holds out today .. lol .. *fingers crossed* ..
